Motorists traveling through Surrey are advised to prepare for upcoming weekend closures on the M25, the major orbital motorway around London. The section between Junction 8 (Reigate) and Junction 10 (Cobham) will be shut down in both directions from May 10th to May 12th. This is the second of five planned weekend closures scheduled to take place throughout the year.
The closures are necessary for essential road maintenance and improvement works. During these periods, alternative routes will be available, and signage will guide drivers accordingly. However, motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time, especially during peak hours.
