Warning ahead of Southport's British Fireworks Championships 2024

Event details and road closures

Southport is preparing to host the British Fireworks Championships 2024, one of the most anticipated events in the seaside town's calendar. The event will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Victoria Park, Southport. The gates will open at 5 pm, and the fireworks display will begin at 9 pm.

Several road closures will be in place in the vicinity of Victoria Park on the day of the event. Drivers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time for travel.
